Two pages, cr. 8vo, bifolium, good condition, a challenging script. I return you many thanks for the 2 pamphlets of yours which I received & should have written to you before now but I only got your letter this day. | I have read them of rather one of them & have derived very useful information from your [work?] as well as the work of others on the subject which I shall certainly bring before the House [of Parliament] in [?] or other Early [?] session. I go to Ireland in a few days, & [???] & pay a visit to that Country in which you take an interest. I should be very happy to see you in the County of Wicklow. Meanwhile should you have leisure to make to me any further communication on the subject you will much oblige [...]. Note: Page published his The principle of the English poor laws : illustrated and defended, by an historical view of indigence in civil society : with observations and suggestions relative to their improved administration in 1822. The third edition (1830) included ADDED OBSERVATIONS ON THE STATE OF THE INDIGENT POOR IN IRELAND.
